The city of Malmö is probably among the frontrunner European cities in planning sustainable city logistics.
In particular, the Administration has developed a strategic planning that is a reference for any other urban planning and development policy.
Moreover, the City of Malmö, supported by funding from Vinnova has developed a business model for a sustainable supply system for an attractive city, also called SAMCITY. The work was conducted in a group of representatives from Citysamverkan, Sweden Åkeriföretag South COOP Member Syd, the Swedish Trade, Property Owners, South and Faculty of Engineering. More information on the activities of the city of Malmö are available here.
