Logical Town aims to contribute to all activities related to dissemination and promotion of activities at the local, national and European level, in particular focusing on small- and mid- sized historic towns. News, updates about activities promoted by the Association and related promotional material are available visiting the website and are diffused by a quarterly newsletters containing news  and events o the theme of sustainable city logistics.

Intertraffic Amsterdam 2014 was visited by the LOGICAL TOWN ASSOCIATION on Friday March 28th. The International trade fair is organised by Amsterdam RAI and took place from 25 - 28 March 2014 in the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre. The fair attracts each year high profile visitors: final decision makers, co-decision makers and advisors from private ventures, contractors, local, national and international authorities. Almost 26,000 visits from 123 different countries worldwide were registered during the event 2014.
LOGICAL TOWN ASSOCIATION visited the different sections of the fair (Safety, Parking, ITS traffic management) which hosted more than 800 companies. During the visit ENCLOSE established relationships and networked the issues of sustainable city logistics, its supporting technologies and related business opportunities toward manufacturers, contractors, dealers and trade agents.
Eventually, the LOGICAL TOWN ASSOCIATION visited the segment area related to Smart Mobility were cooperative systems, total solutions, consortia and Public Private Co-operations were hosted. The project had the opportunity to discuss with local public authorities, research institutions and universities the challenges and opportunities of greening sustainable urban logistics, the goals and activities of the Association and work carried out by its members.

The Logical Town Association was the main partner of the International workshop that was held in Växjö (Sweden) the last 7th of April 2014.

The topic was urban planning about sustainable city logistics policies and measures in European cities and the international workshop has brought together representatives of several European cities, including several of the Nordic area.

Promoted by the ENCLOSE project, the aim of the events was to network small and mid- sized towns to discuss common issues, challenges and results on urban logistics planning. The cities of Lucca (Italy), s'-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands), Trondheim (Norway), Burgos (Spain), Almada (Portugal), Dundee (UK) were hosted by the Energy Agency for Southeast (Sweden), partner in the ENCLOSE project (www.enclose.eu), and representatives from several Swedish cities such as Malmö and Umeå, European Capital of Culture 2014, joined the event to share experiences from their activities to reduce the environmental impact from transportation. The Swedish Association of Municipalities and Regions (SKL) chaired the event. Moreover, some of the most important organizations in the Swedish region attended the event as speakers: VTI, the Swedish Transport Administration, Chalmers University. The European Energy Agency (EEA) also joined the event as speaker and described the recently published report on urban transport – TERM 2013 - including transport indicators tracking progress towards environmental targets in Europe.
